📋 Description

• Design and implement enterprise-scale Network-as-Code, Infrastructure-as-Code, and GitOps solutions using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Git • Eliminate manual network deployment processes by establishing Git as the single source of truth • Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network infrastructure • Implement automated testing, dry-run validation, deployment approval gates, and security/compliance checks • Enable zero-downtime network deployments • Design, deploy, and support Kubernetes networking architectures using Project Calico, OVN, VXLAN overlays, network policies, container networking, and physical underlay integration • Lead enterprise network architecture design, modernization, and reviews • Provide expertise in BGP, OSPF, data center networking, multi-site routing, and high-availability solutions • Serve as the Tier-4 escalation engineer for complex network incidents • Troubleshoot overlay/underlay failures, asymmetric routing, microbursts, path selection issues, and network performance bottlenecks • Lead root cause analysis and long-term remediation initiatives • Drive continuous improvement to enhance network reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency • Implement Security-as-Code practices • Automate validation and enforcement of ACLs, firewall policies, security groups, and configuration standards before production deployments

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Network Automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), or Platform Engineering • Hands-on expertise in network security, including Palo Alto firewalls • Hands-on expertise in load balancing, including F5 or equivalent • Hands-on expertise in routing, including MPLS, OSPF, and BGP • Hands-on expertise in switching, including Cisco Nexus 9k/7k/5k/2k • Working knowledge of Cisco IOS; Nexus OS preferred • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python, including Netmiko, Nornir, and NAPALM • Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, data center networking, and overlay/underlay network architectures • Experience designing and operating Kubernetes networking, including Project Calico, OVN, VXLAN, and Kubernetes CNI • Hands-on experience with GitOps and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Experience supporting production enterprise environments • Experience with telecommunications technologies, including SIP, RTP, Session Border Controllers (SBC), SIP trunking, and VoIP architectures • Knowledge of Linux networking, including network namespaces, virtual interfaces, eBPF, and iptables • Experience implementing Telemetry-as-Code, network observability, automated validation frameworks, and proactive monitoring solutions • Experience with cloud networking, infrastructure modernization, or large-scale network transformation initiatives • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams
