• Advising and supporting clients on the implementation, amendment and redesign of occupational pension schemes (bAV) and related benefits as part of an interdisciplinary team • Managing the occupational pensions of individual clients, including on-site client assignments in an interim-management capacity (external bAV expert and administrator) • Managing an assigned client portfolio from both technical and sales perspectives • Project management and independent execution of client projects • Maintaining relationships with existing clients and expanding business relationships, including with regard to other Mercer service areas • Contributing to internal projects to further develop Mercer’s advisory and solution portfolio
• University degree or consulting experience in the field of occupational pensions, e.g., in a consulting firm, in a company’s HR or finance function, or at a life insurer • Initial experience with employment law and social security law related to occupational pensions • Knowledge of life insurance and basic knowledge of German commercial and tax law as well as international accounting are advantageous • Proven success in developing or implementing pension solutions for clients is a plus • Entrepreneurial mindset, team orientation, initiative, and customer-focused behavior and thinking, both technically and commercially • Willingness to travel and to work on-site at client locations • Strong analytical and conceptual skills • Excellent German (C1) and English (C1) language skills, both written and spoken • Knowledge of relevant sales methods
