📋 Description

• Lead high-impact strategic consulting and full-lifecycle product development • Partner with cross-functional teams to modernize infrastructure and drive complex cloud-native migrations • Migrate repositories, user accounts, and access controls to a secure GitHub Enterprise Cloud instance with Enterprise Managed Users and Data Residency • Establish a governed EMU environment with centralized Identity and Access Management • Use GitHub Enterprise Importer to migrate repositories and workflows while preserving Git history, branch protections, and metadata • Transition repository permissions to scalable, team-based access synchronized with the identity provider • Validate integrations and dependent toolchains before cutover to ensure operational continuity • Deliver a fully documented, governed environment at handoff • Design and maintain robust infrastructure platforms for engineering teams • Standardize platform tooling across environments • Develop and support self-service infrastructure and CI/CD capabilities • Collaborate with client IT teams and internal Modus engagement leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with cloud-native platform migrations • Proven expertise in GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) migrations using GitHub Enterprise Importer (GEI) and managing Enterprise Managed Users (EMU) • Experience building and maintaining scalable, reliable platform services • Expertise managing the full lifecycle of internal developer platforms (IDP) • Understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native architecture principles • Hands-on experience with Azure (preferred) and distributed systems, platform APIs, and cloud-native design • Proficiency in CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins • Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and HashiCorp tooling • Automation skills in Python, bash, or PowerShell • Understanding of modern delivery practices including AI-powered SDLC and agentic tooling • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to mentor client teams and work independently with minimal direction • Ability to overlap with EST business hours daily • Reliable high-speed internet • Ability to collaborate with client IT teams and internal Modus engagement leadership • GitHub, Azure, or AWS certifications listed as bonus skills
