📋 Description

• Lead engineering for MonieCRM, Moniepoint's in-house workforce operations platform for its 50,000-strong sales network • Modernise and re-architect rapidly grown legacy systems • Improve system reliability and performance at a scale exceeding 20 million users • Ensure financial correctness for wallets, commission calculation and attribution, cashout, and welfare funds • Scale sales and marketing tooling with a rapidly growing agent network across multiple markets • Support partner management, rewards and retention platforms, and the Braze-based marketing technology stack • Enable commercial teams to operate faster through dependable tooling • Build a high-performing engineering organisation with strong managers and senior engineers • Deliver accurately calculated, attributed, and timely commissions and earnings at network scale

🎯 Requirements

• 10–15 years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading engineering teams through growth phases • 5+ years of hands-on, production-level experience writing and shipping Java code • At least 5 years of experience managing managers • Proven platform engineering experience at scale, building and running complex distributed systems • Experience navigating legacy migrations and re-architecture projects at 20M+ user scale • Strong backend engineering skills in high-throughput, data-intensive distributed systems • Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot • Experience managing and developing large engineering teams of 20 or more members • Experience building systems where financial correctness matters is a strong advantage • Fintech or payments background strongly preferred • Exposure to customer engagement or marketing automation platforms such as Braze is a plus, but not a requirement • CRM or SalesTech domain experience is explicitly not required
