📋 Description

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for inventory and logistics tools and repair management software • Lead an engineering organisation of approximately 25 engineers, including managers, QA, SRE and Data Engineering • Drive platformisation of inventory and supply chain systems across millions of terminals • Build operationally disciplined solutions bridging operational practice and software systems • Define architecture standards, engineering processes and quality metrics across squads • Collaborate with business and operational stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering solutions • Hire, mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers to support growth to 30+ members • Deliver scalable inventory and logistics systems across multiple countries • Establish operational data visibility and trust across global markets • Enable reliability and data integrity through robust architecture standards

🎯 Requirements

• 10–15 years of overall software engineering experience, including at least 5 years leading engineering teams through growth phases • 5+ years of hands-on, production-level experience writing and shipping Java code • At least 5 years of experience managing managers • Deep hands-on experience in supply chain, inventory, warehouse or logistics software at scale • Fintech or regulated-industry experience • Strong backend engineering skills for data-intensive, distributed, operational systems • Proven system design ability at large scale, managing hundreds of thousands of devices or more • Experience managing and developing large engineering teams of 20 or more members • Excellent stakeholder management • Product-minded approach to operational problem-solving • Evidence of Customer Obsession, Craft, Systemisation, Urgency, Ownership, No Ego, Candour and Integrity
