📋 Description

• Lead the design and architecture of POS terminal solutions • Ensure security, scalability, performance, and integration with hardware and payment systems • Develop and maintain architectural documents and diagrams • Make architectural decisions involving payment technologies, EMV standards, and hardware compatibility • Lead development of POS-related applications • Optimize performance and security for payment processing and EMV protocols • Participate in planning with product and engineering teams • Conduct code reviews and enforce mobile and embedded systems best practices • Improve engineering efficiency and developer productivity across POS teams • Ensure product and application stability and reliability • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues • Mentor engineering teams and contribute to the technical vision • Participate in hiring and screen engineers specializing in POS, mobile, and embedded development

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in system design, architecture, and development, specifically in the POS terminal domain • Strong expertise in Android Native development using Java/Kotlin • Deep understanding of Android-based POS terminal solutions • Experience in cross-platform mobile development, such as Flutter • Familiarity with C and JavaScript for POS application platforms is a plus • Strong knowledge of EMV security protocols, including chip-based transactions, encryption, and key management • Experience integrating hardware for POS devices, including card readers, pin pads, printers, and other peripherals • Deep understanding of payment systems architecture, including payment processor and gateway integration • Knowledge of software quality assurance principles and their application in financial systems • Ability to manage complex system interactions and adapt to changing requirements • Strong communication and leadership abilities, including mentoring engineers and driving process improvements
