📋 Description

• Take technical responsibility for the operation, stability, and ongoing development of the large-scale WordPress platform • Ensure performance, scalability, maintainability, clean structure, error-free operation, and overall stability • Own the architecture and structuring of Custom Post Type (CPT)-based content systems • Build and maintain dynamic data models and fields • Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks • Debug complex plugin and Elementor edge cases • Develop efficient, reusable templates and modules • Implement SEO-relevant structures at a technical level • Build and maintain batch and bulk-processing workflows • Integrate and manage AI-based automations • Implement update and deployment strategies • Perform monitoring, log analysis, and error tracking • Collaborate with SEO and content teams without micromanagement • Document design decisions and contribute to architectural decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience with WordPress at large-scale setups • Understand WordPress as a system and think in terms of systems, data models, and architectures • Understanding of why systems become slow and the ability to sustainably fix root causes • Strong understanding of clean code and system structure • Organized and independent way of working • Avoid agency-style overengineering and quick-and-dirty solutions • Experience with Elementor Pro, templates, Global Styles, and dynamic content • Experience with Custom Post Types and taxonomies • Experience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), dynamic fields, and query logic • Well-structured, clean, and maintainable PHP skills • JavaScript/jQuery knowledge for extensions and fixes • Knowledge of MySQL, the WP DB layer, and query optimization • Knowledge of caching strategies (object, page, fragment) • Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed optimization • Experience with hosting environments including staging, backups, and deployments • Experience with batch-processing large volumes of content • Nice to have: experience with very large SEO projects • Nice to have: development of custom Elementor widgets • Nice to have: WP-CLI / shell automations • Nice to have: experience with Multisite / content hubs • Nice to have: understanding of crawl budget and indexing logic • Nice to have: experience with AI pipelines and automation
