📋 Description

• Define and drive the target architecture for an AI-first enterprise data and analytics platform • Establish technical direction and modernization patterns for the analytics technology stack • Architect scalable data infrastructure, ingestion and transformation frameworks, storage models, and integration patterns • Design governed semantic data layers supporting AI agents, natural language querying, conversational analytics, and AI-powered data experiences • Establish secure retrieval, API, and integration patterns for AI agents and applications • Lead data governance, security, privacy, access control, and compliance architecture • Establish engineering standards for data modeling, testing, observability, CI/CD, documentation, deployment, and system integration • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Analytics Engineers • Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Revenue Operations • Report to the VP, Analytics • Travel up to 10% for team collaboration, customer engagements, and company events; attend the annual company offsite

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and evolving modern data and analytics architectures • Experience making architectural decisions spanning multiple systems, teams, or business use cases • Deep experience with Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Python, and SQL • Experience designing scalable data models, transformation pipelines, semantic or metrics layers, and integration patterns • Experience architecting or implementing AI-enabled data systems, including natural language analytics, AI agents, RAG, vector search, or related LLM-powered workflows • Strong knowledge of enterprise data governance, security, privacy, access control, and data quality practices • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, observability, version control, and reliable deployment patterns • Ability to set technical direction and evaluate complex architectural trade-offs • Strong communication skills for translating complex data and AI architecture into clear decisions and technical direction
