NetLaw’s product is built as a scalable SaaS solution to embed estate planning into financial advisory processes, improve compliance, and centralize collaboration and document fulfillment.

📋 Description

• Build new backend services and features across existing services • Develop new partner and provider integrations • Build most functionality in-house, including data-layer, analytics, and frontend components where needed • Translate estate-planning legal and business rules into correct software behavior • Work with .NET 8+/C#, SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, Azure, MQTT, and Azure Event Hubs • Develop microservices, minimal APIs, webhooks, WebSockets, and some JavaScript where work extends into the frontend • Collaborate closely with the CTO, frontend lead, and engineering team • Review code and discuss technical decisions before implementation • Raise objections and identify problems in technical decisions • Participate in the introductory call, take-home exercise review, and technical code-improvement session

🎯 Requirements

• Strong C# and .NET skills • Substantive Entity Framework Core experience, including relationships, query performance, and recognizing N+1 issues • Confident SQL Server skills • Practical experience with event-driven communication between services • Azure experience is an advantage • A degree in computer science is welcome but not required • Ability to work with legal and business rules and translate them into system-expressible requirements • Willingness to participate in code reviews and technical discussions • Ability to complete a two- to three-hour take-home exercise • Ability to read existing code and discuss improvements in a technical session without AI assistance • Willingness to work through a paid ninety-day mutual-fit period
