📋 Description

• Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the client's data platform • Work across Lakehouse architectures, data pipelines, data modeling, and cloud-based analytics solutions • Communicate between data science team members, data scientists developing AI models, and the teams constructing and operating them • Identify, create, and prepare data for modern data solutions and AI • Design ETLs and ELTs for data transformations • Design, build, and manage data lake architectures • Work with Apache Hadoop projects, including Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, and Airflow • Integrate and test data solutions • Create and document tests to meet requirements • Work with big data environments • Manage cloud data services, data access, security, and data governance • Analyze and prepare data for machine learning workloads • Manage application and service monitoring and logs

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Data Engineer/Architect role and tasks such as ETL, data preparation and ingestion, and data streaming • Experience working in AWS environments • Knowledge of Python, R, or other data process tools • Intermediate/Upper English level • Experience with Apache Spark • Experience using AWS data services such as S3, AWS or Microsoft Glue, Athena, and SageMaker • Experience using DevOps tools such as Git and pipelines • Experience working in an Agile Scrum team • Experience working with infrastructure as code such as Terraform and CloudFormation • Must be located in Argentina • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
