📋 Description

• Apply advanced machine learning techniques across projects involving synthetic biology, code frameworks, niche-market e-commerce, and messaging applications • Explore and implement AI approaches including CNNs, LSTMs, reinforcement learning, and transfer learning • Perform data exploration, feature engineering, model evaluation, tuning, and production deployment • Build or contribute to applications involving computer vision, chatbots, recommendation engines, time-series forecasting, robotics, and optimization • Collaborate with a new team connecting digital and biological-world engineering • Distill complex AI topics into digestible training for junior staff • Attend daily standups and respond to technical queries while on call • Maintain a work log in Google Docs • Work on assigned projects using Python with AI/ML, Angular, Material, Node/NestJs, AWS, and Ionic

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience applying advanced machine learning techniques, including neural networks, deep learning, and natural language processing • Python AI/ML experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and scikit-learn • Working knowledge of computer vision, chatbots, recommendation engines, time series forecasting, robotics, and optimization algorithms • Strong data exploration, feature engineering, model evaluation/tuning, and production deployment skills • Knowledge of CUDA and distributed model training is a plus • Advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related technical field is preferred • Strong math skills in linear algebra, calculus, and statistics • Ability to understand current AI research papers and implement CNNs, LSTMs, reinforcement learning, and transfer learning • Communication skills to distill complex AI topics into training for junior staff • Python with AI/ML, Angular, Material, Node/NestJs, AWS, and Ionic • Able to work over a remote connection such as TeamViewer or Chrome Remote Desktop • Fluent English comprehension and oration, easy to understand over the phone • Eager to put team needs above personal needs and take initiative • Must work at least 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday • Must be on call for technical queries from 9 am to 5 pm CST • Must be comfortable with the company’s time-tracking software • Participate in a one-month probationary period • Good and stable internet connection • Participate in daily standups • Keep a work log in Google Docs
