📋 Description

• Configure, deploy, maintain, and optimize enterprise security appliances, including firewalls, IPS/IDS, load balancers, and VPN concentrators • Ensure appliance performance, availability, and health across sites and cloud environments • Develop, implement, audit, and review firewall and IPS/IDS policies and configurations • Monitor logs and alerts, respond to security incidents, and detect threats • Design and maintain application load balancing for high availability, traffic distribution, and performance optimization • Configure and support site-to-site and remote-access VPNs • Monitor network and security devices, investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures • Deploy and manage security appliances, WAFs, and VPNs in AWS and Azure hybrid-cloud environments • Develop and maintain Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripts for automation, backups, and reporting • Maintain appliance documentation, SOPs, and change logs • Ensure compliance with ISO, PCI, GDPR, and internal security requirements • Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and ServiceDesk teams on network-security projects • Provide escalation support and knowledge transfer to IT staff • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans • Recommend and implement security best practices, technologies, and process improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field • At least 2 years’ hands-on experience managing network security appliances, firewalls, and load balancers in enterprise or cloud environments • Proficiency configuring and troubleshooting Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, and Check Point firewalls • Proficiency configuring and troubleshooting F5 and Citrix ADC load balancers • Solid understanding of IPS/IDS systems and network-architecture integration • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud security and cloud-native security appliances • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and VLANs • Experience with IPSec and SSL VPNs, access control, and secure remote access • Experience with network monitoring, management, and automation tools • Strong Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripting/automation skills • Familiarity with ISO, PCI, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Effective communication and documentation abilities • Preferred: PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, F5 Certified BIG-IP Admin, CCNA/CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, or similar certifications • Preferred: experience with Zero Trust, WAFs, DDoS mitigation, secure hybrid and multi-cloud networks, B2B/B2C environments, Ansible, or Terraform
