📋 Description

• Manage the monthly invoicing process, from reviewing recorded project hours through to issuing the final invoice • Review recorded hours and service records for completeness and plausibility • Reconcile billable hours and services with customers • Prepare outgoing invoices and coordinate internal invoice approval • Monitor outstanding invoices and incoming payments • Further develop structured and efficient invoicing processes • Monitor budgets, engagements, and the financial performance of customer projects • Compare services delivered, invoices issued, and available project budgets • Prepare budget-versus-actual analyses and compile commercial KPIs • Support forecasting and financial business planning • Further develop controlling and reporting structures • Review incoming invoices and coordinate their approval • Review expense reports and supporting receipts • Organize the structured transfer of accounting-related documents via DATEV • Act as the point of contact for the external tax advisory firm and coordinate responses to queries • Prepare information for monthly and annual financial statements • Prepare documents and changes for outsourced payroll accounting • Maintain and review employee, vacation, and time records • Coordinate queries between employees and the payroll accounting provider

🎯 Requirements

• Completed commercial training, for example as a tax clerk, industrial clerk, office management clerk, or an equivalent qualification • Professional experience in a commercial role, ideally in accounting, project invoicing, preparatory bookkeeping, or controlling • Hands-on experience with DATEV is required • Very good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365 • Experience with ZEP, particularly time tracking and invoicing, is desirable • Experience with Personio is also desirable • Strong numerical aptitude and a good understanding of commercial relationships • Structured, detail-oriented, and independent approach to work • Confident and friendly communication with customers, employees, and external partners • Enjoy organizing tasks independently and following them through reliably • Willingness to jointly further develop existing processes
