📋 Description

• Assess customer analytic needs and recommend appropriate analytics solutions • Develop real-time and near-real-time Epic production database reports using Reporting Workbench • Develop custom metrics and RW SQL reports • Develop operational dashboards using Radar • Create standard and custom reports, dashboards, and views summarizing clinical, financial, and operational data • Gather report requirements and develop report specifications with operational stakeholders and application analysts • Develop, validate, troubleshoot, resolve, report, and close reports and analytics issues • Serve as primary reporting contact for designated operational areas • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting and data needs and determine suitable solutions • Validate reports, dashboards, and analytics for accuracy and operational usefulness • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and specifications • Educate and support end users in self-service reporting tools, including Slicer Dicer, Universes, Cubes, and Qlik Sense • Partner with Epic application teams on report and dashboard access, roles, and security templates • Monitor the intake queue and ensure service-level agreement adherence • Answer staff and client questions by phone, email, and in person • Provide scheduled after-hours on-call support • Mentor junior team members in technical and functional areas • Establish, document, and enforce reporting standards and best practices through code reviews • Prioritize requests, enhancements, and projects with the manager • Plan and execute retirement of legacy Crystal Reports and conversion to RW SQL and Qlik technologies • Keep current with Epic updates and support migration to new tools and technologies • Lead intake management and help align team priorities • Partner with the Technical Training team to develop training and documentation solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Epic Cogito Fundamentals certification • Cogito Tools Administration certification • Clarity Data Model certification • Caboodle Data Model certification • One of two clinical/access data model certifications or accreditations • Required certifications must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or in lieu of the degree, 10 years of progressively responsible, professional job-specific experience plus an equivalent combination of education and training • Minimum six years of experience with BI and analytic reporting software applications • At least two years of experience with Epic Reporting Workbench reports and Radar dashboards • Prior production-level support and/or development experience in BI environments • Excellent SQL skills, including writing complex queries against high-volume datasets • Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts and enterprise data management practices • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills • Understanding of the full reporting delivery lifecycle, from requirements definition through development and testing • Healthcare, hospital, and ambulatory terminology and business-practice knowledge • Knowledge of HIPAA, DNV, and MIPS regulations • Experience gathering end-user requirements, defining data specifications, designing solutions, and modifying existing work • Knowledge of clinical documentation and orders databases, data conversion models, workflows, master files, category lists, synonyms, and preference lists • Ability to work independently or as a team member and manage multiple concurrent projects • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing schedules and priorities, including possible evening and weekend work • Ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion • Understanding of Epic reporting and analytics tools, including Reporting Workbench, Radar, Slicer Dicer, Universes, and Cubes • Qlik Sense experience • Knowledge of report and dashboard security roles and templates • Must be able to drive
