📋 Description

• Develop clean, well-documented examples and projects for the developer community • Build and document distributed systems designed for global scale and high-performance edge inference • Create written and video content, including deep-dive YouTube tutorials and short-form social videos • Optimize and demonstrate LLM inference on GPUs, focusing on performance, latency, and efficiency within the open-source ecosystem • Lead community-building efforts across GitHub, Discord, and industry events • Provide actionable feedback to engineering teams based on hands-on testing and developer community insights • Represent Akamai through technical storytelling at conferences, workshops, live-coding sessions, and developer community engagement in Asia and globally • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to highlight Akamai technology capabilities and advocate for the global AI developer ecosystem

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience in AI Engineering, LLMs, and the open-source AI ecosystem • Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, vLLM, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Crew AI, Pydandic AI, or similar • Proficiency running and optimizing GPU inference • Experience deploying models in edge computing environments • Understanding of building and scaling distributed systems for global workloads • Expertise producing high-production-value video content and clear technical documentation • Ability to identify emerging AI trends and translate them into practical developer resources • Ability to mentor developers and influence technical roadmaps across cross-functional organizations
