📋 Description

• Spearhead Akamai’s go-to-market strategy across Southeast Asia for API Security, Agent Security, and Firewall for AI solutions • Own specialist sales quota and regional pursuit strategy • Engage and influence senior decision-makers across CISO, Application Security, Platform Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and Cloud/AI Innovation teams • Act as strategic quarterback on target accounts • Collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Channel Alliances, and Managed Security teams to accelerate pipeline • Lead and build business cases around regulatory compliance, including MAS TRM/TPRM and privacy mandates • Navigate security bake-offs and guide opportunities to closure using MEDDPICC • Articulate Akamai’s approach to runtime business threats and build-time software supply chain risks • Identify and close cybersecurity opportunities in banking, telecommunications, and digital accounts

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of quota-carrying cybersecurity/SaaS sales experience • Consistent record of closing enterprise deals ($250k ARR / 7-figure TCV) across Southeast Asia • Technical fluency in APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC), API Gateways, modern AppSec (OWASP Top 10), cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes) • Familiarity with enterprise Generative AI architectures, autonomous agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and risks including prompt injection, excessive agency, and data exfiltration • Mastery of structured sales qualification frameworks such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Force Management • Exceptional forecasting accuracy and pipeline management • Established executive network and commercial familiarity with large financial institutions, telcos, and conglomerates across Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia • Proactive self-starter with high intellectual curiosity and ability to create net-new demand
