📋 Description

• Learn cloud infrastructure and Akamai networking • Design software projects and scale distributed software-defined networking solutions • Implement inbound and outbound DDoS protection • Manage lifecycle upgrades • Expand flow telemetry • Develop API-driven control systems • Create automated configurations to safeguard IP traffic flows across backbone connectivity layers and datacenter fabric • Build tools and develop new features for existing software • Develop tests, test automation, testing frameworks, and performance benchmarks • Design reliable, high-quality, usable software for indefinitely scalable deployed networks • Create reusable code and libraries • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on communication and code development • Create developer documentation for tools when applicable

🎯 Requirements

• Fluency writing code in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Go, Python, or C++ • Knowledge and experience maintaining software running on Linux • Understanding of IP addressing, IP routing, commonly used protocols, and networking equipment • Basic understanding of DDoS mitigation methods and network flow telemetry • Experience building API-driven control systems for automated network configuration and attack containment
