📋 Description

• Collaborate with Akamai Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements for supply chain and logistics operations • Develop and improve import and export compliance processes, procedures, and controls • Determine export authorization requirements and prepare licenses, license exceptions, supporting documentation, and compliance records • Maintain accurate HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN product classifications and auditable classification records • Conduct compliance audits and determine import/export controls • Deliver export compliance training and develop KPIs to measure trade compliance performance • Oversee daily operations and performance for supply chain providers • Support senior analysts and Project Managers on selected projects • Develop technical understanding of deployed network products and identify automation and standardization opportunities • Collaborate with manufacturers, logistics providers, carriers, repair vendors, customs authorities, and legal teams

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in international trade compliance, including U.S. import and export regulations • Knowledge of HTS and ECCN classification, export controls, licensing requirements, and customs documentation • Ability to collaborate with Logistics, Planning, Design, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, customs brokers, and logistics providers • Advanced Excel proficiency • Experience maintaining accurate compliance data in ERP, classification, or document management systems • Written and spoken communication skills, including technical correspondence with agencies • Attention to detail and strong organization • Capacity to negotiate and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Technical understanding of products used across Akamai's deployed network
