📋 Description

• Manage a geographically distributed group of 10–20 developers • Develop and implement technical strategies to enhance product delivery and performance • Foster continuous improvement, innovation and professional development • Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines and deliverables • Monitor and evaluate software development processes and implement best practices • Oversee recruitment, training and performance management of engineering staff • Make technology and architecture decisions ensuring scalability and robustness • Provide technical guidance and mentorship, promoting coding best practices and collaboration • Lead requirements, design, development, quality assurance and end-to-end delivery of features, bug fixes and enhancements

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in low latency, high throughput low level applications • C/C++ experience is a substantial advantage • Knowledge and experience designing and delivering mission critical, highly available, clustered applications • Knowledge and experience in database and/or storage technologies is an advantage • Experience leading requirements, design, development, quality assurance and end-to-end delivery of features, bug fixes and enhancements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Master's degree preferred • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering • At least 5 years in a leadership role • Proven track record managing large-scale software projects and leading engineering teams • Experience with cloud computing technologies and distributed systems highly desirable • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to drive technical innovation and adapt to changing market demands • Deep understanding of software engineering principles
