📋 Description

• Own final editorial review and approval of all learner-facing content across Quest, Quest Ascend and Quest Launchpad • Set and maintain content standards for learning outcomes, voice, reading level, word limits, factual accuracy and cultural relevance • Document standards in a style guide • Review content for pedagogical soundness, clear learning outcomes, sensible progression and valid assessment • Verify content for AI scoring is structured for accurate, specific and useful automated feedback • Coach the Content Designer, Content Owner and contracted writers through structured feedback • Validate post-school, university-application and careers guidance against current requirements in Kenya and other served markets • Run a predictable review cadence with agreed turnaround times and approve-or-revise decisions • Audit published content against learner completion data and feedback • Commission revisions where evidence indicates content is not working • Advise the PSSP Lead on content strategy, sequencing and product gaps • Flag quality risks early

🎯 Requirements

• Senior experience in curriculum leadership, instructional design or editorial direction for education products • Track record of setting content standards for others • Deep understanding of pedagogy, learning progression and assessment design • Experience reviewing and approving others' work at volume • Ability to provide specific, actionable and developmental feedback • Excellent command of written English and editorial precision • Ability to maintain a defined house style across many contributors • Familiarity with digital and blended learning formats • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing a review queue to agreed turnaround times • Experience in post-school transition, university applications, careers guidance or entrepreneurship education preferred • Experience reviewing AI-generated or AI-assisted learning content preferred • Working knowledge of the Kenyan secondary and tertiary landscape, including CBE pathways, KCSE and university placement preferred • Excellent communication, attention to detail and collaborative approach • Commitment to youth safeguarding, learner privacy, accessible learning and responsible use of AI • Alignment with Nova Pioneer's mission • English language proficiency explicitly required through excellent command of written English
