📋 Description

• Support the OpenStack Team Operations queue in infrastructure and cloud operations environments • Develop and support OpenStack services and cloud-based operations • Monitor, troubleshoot, and assist with triage and resolution of bugs and KPI investigations • Collaborate with SRE, PaaS, Image, Infrastructure, architecture, product management, and application development teams • Solve sophisticated problems involving multi-site OpenStack regional deployments supporting NVIDIA products • Collaborate with system engineering, software engineering, mechanical/thermal engineering, operations, data center teams, external vendors, and partners • Contribute to deployment quality and improve time to market for next-generation products

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience • 8+ years of relevant experience supporting OpenStack with Ironic • Thorough understanding of the PXE process, including host configuration (BIOS and network card), VLANs, switch port settings, and cabling • Knowledge of DHCP (DNSMASK), TFTP, HTTP, and ISCSI services for PXE boot troubleshooting • Familiarity with OpenStack services and interactions, including Nova, Nova Placement, Neutron, Glance, Cinder, and Ironic • Ability to troubleshoot across OpenStack applications and understand deployment processes, service dependencies, and order of operations • Proficiency in AI DevOps tools and Python coding • Expertise supporting MySQL, RabbitMQ, CEPH, HAProxy, and Keepalived • Ability to use Ansible, GitLab, Jenkins, Grafana, DataDog, and Elastic Search • Experience with OpenStack Ironic, ML2, and bare-metal provisioning • Familiarity with large-scale R&D/QA environments and product bring-ups • Experience running OpenStack in a containerized environment • Background with Linux, RHEL, Ansible, Bash, and Python • Familiarity with Jenkins, Ansible, and REST APIs
