📋 Description

• Provide legal support for the ongoing development of NYALA’s product offering • Implement regulatory requirements and communicate with regulatory authorities • Apply and further develop the legal framework under the German Electronic Securities Act (eWpG), the German Electronic Securities Regulation (eWpRV), the German Banking Act (KWG), and the German Anti-Money Laundering Act (GwG) • Monitor and support current legislative developments • Contribute to statements and consultations concerning the further development of legislation for blockchain technology • Provide direct operational support to the Money Laundering Prevention, Compliance, and Risk Officers in their day-to-day work • Prepare factual matters for decision-making • Monitor deadlines, measures, and follow-up actions • Prepare templates for reports to the company’s responsible officers • Maintain key performance indicators and analyses • Update policies, manuals, and work instructions • Support annual financial statement audits and special audits

🎯 Requirements

• Interest in technology, particularly DLT, and capital markets law matters • Strong attention to detail • Reliable adherence to deadlines • Ability to summarize complex matters clearly and concisely in writing • Discretion when handling customer and company data • Business-fluent German for correspondence with regulatory authorities and regulatory reporting • English proficiency for correspondence with international customers and interpreting legal texts is an advantage • Comprehensive prior knowledge of the eWpG, GwG, and KWG is not required • Enrollment as a working student is required, as indicated by the position title and employment type
