📋 Description

• Manage approximately 100–150 financial transactions per week • Manage accounts payable workflows, including reviewing, coding, and processing vendor bills and payments • Oversee employee expense reporting and resolve vendor invoice and payment questions • Record and reconcile donations, revenue, online donation receipts, and bundled payments • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and support month-end accounting activities • Work with the outsourced accounting provider through the monthly close process • Review financial information, identify discrepancies, investigate causes, and resolve issues • Own post-close communication of financial performance to department owners • Prepare budget-versus-actual reporting and investigate significant variances • Build financial dashboards and prepare leadership-facing reports and presentations • Support financial planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, cash-flow decisions, and currency-exposure analysis • Prepare audit and Form 990 supporting documentation • Support state compliance and sales tax filings • Maintain financial information across Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Ramp, Salesforce, and Google Sheets • Improve finance workflows, data-management processes, budget-tracking systems, and administrative processes • Support payroll administration and provide guidance on expense submissions, coding, and financial policies • Serve as a trusted financial partner to senior leadership and the primary internal contact for day-to-day finance questions • Support financial onboarding and participate in team meetings and cross-functional discussions

🎯 Requirements

• 3–6 years of accounting, financial control, or finance operations experience • Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and strong accounting and transaction-coding fundamentals • Significant hands-on experience using Sage Intacct in a finance or accounting environment • Ability to independently support month-end accounting activities, bank reconciliations, and financial record maintenance • Hands-on experience with accounts payable, vendor payments, and expense-management processes • Ability to interpret financial statements, analyze budget performance, investigate variances, and support forecasting • Strong capability with Google Sheets pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, financial modeling, and dashboard creation • Experience working across multiple finance and operational systems while maintaining data accuracy • Excellent written and verbal English communication • Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders • Strong accuracy, organization, independent problem-solving, and accountability for financial operations • Ability to maintain a minimum of 5 hours of live ET overlap during the working day • Ability to work inclusively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds
