📋 Description

• Review and evaluate client income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements using established analytical templates • Analyze interconnections across three financial statements to evaluate business health • Investigate historical performance trends, unusual movements, and root causes of profitability issues • Identify financial and operational risks, anomalies, and inconsistencies in historical client data • Maintain and populate financial models, supporting schedules, and baseline calculations • Support financial forecasts and rolling cash projections, including 13-week cash flow schedules • Integrate third-party market, operational, and risk intelligence into diagnostic models • Synthesize market benchmarks with company-specific financial indicators • Identify and quantify operational improvement opportunities • Prepare, structure, and update client-facing diagnostic decks in Google Slides • Translate financial computations into charts, narrative summaries, and slide layouts • Integrate analytics, trend models, and data science outputs into presentations • Review and refine presentation drafts through internal feedback cycles • Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, model population, and reporting workflows • Verify AI-generated financial calculations, interpretations, and cash forecasts line by line • Cross-check conclusions and summaries against primary source data • Ensure accuracy and precision of deliverables before senior review • Communicate findings, variances, and insights to practice leads and engagement reviewers • Respond to routine client inquiries about diagnostic findings, figures, and methodology • Resolve straightforward financial questions and escalate data discrepancies • Collaborate with practice leadership, financial reviewers, Data Scientists, US-based financial analysts, and client-facing advisory stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Early-career background in corporate finance, financial analysis, business analysis, or accounting; internship experience with strong fundamental knowledge considered • Exposure to business consulting, professional services, or the home services sector advantageous • Strong hands-on proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides, or equivalent advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills • Familiarity with AI-assisted research and productivity tools required • Solid grasp of three-statement financial mechanics and interconnections among income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements • Ability to spot numerical anomalies, audit financial formulas, and integrate third-party market intelligence into structured models • Exceptional attention to numerical detail • Coachability and intellectual curiosity • High accountability for output quality • Punctuality and reliability in a distributed team setting • Ability to work a split shift with some overlap with the client’s time zone
