📋 Description

• Build and scale octopusenergy.es, customer onboarding flows, and the customer private area • Act as the technical driver for the frontend space • Work closely with Marketing and internal stakeholders • Collaborate with Octopus Energy ES and international engineering teams to develop and integrate features • Own key frontend product modules, including the private area, bill management, saving sessions, customer onboarding optimization, and marketing dashboards • Deliver customer-impacting code in a fast-paced environment • Work within an agile, flat-hierarchy culture • Adapt to evolving business priorities and work across different areas • Optionally contribute to backend-related work using Python/Django and GraphQL

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent spoken English is absolutely essential • Strong, proven experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer • Solid grasp of modern frontend architecture • Deep expertise in TypeScript and React • Hands-on experience with Next.js, ideally hosted on Vercel • Experience working with GraphQL as a data layer • Comfort with CSS-in-JS solutions • Solid testing practices using Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright • Experience working within a monorepo structure • Flexible, collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Interest or experience in backend development, particularly Python (Django), is nice to have • Familiarity with PostgreSQL is nice to have • Fullstack mindset is nice to have
