📋 Description

• Build and ship frontend features across Vue-based embeddable widgets and shopper-facing components, Angular-based merchant admin tools, and React-based Shopify integrations • Design, develop, and implement software solutions with product, design, and backend engineering • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable TypeScript • Break down complex problems into scoped tasks, estimate, plan, and deliver work • Own features end to end: design, build, test, deploy, and monitor in production • Participate in system design discussions and evolve frontend architecture as the platform scales • Mentor engineers, review code, and raise the team’s technical standards • Collaborate with backend engineers to design performant APIs and data flows • Develop, test, and deploy software solutions • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and communicate project updates • Evaluate and integrate technical solutions into the existing system • Explore new technologies and contribute innovative ideas

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building production frontend applications • Strong hands-on experience with at least one of Vue, Angular, or React, with ability to ramp quickly across the other two • Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript • Track record of shipping high-quality, tested, maintainable frontend code in a team environment • Comfort working across a full serverless stack, including APIs, event-driven services, and cloud infrastructure • Strong written and verbal communication for async work with a fully distributed, global team • Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions with appropriate guidance, and know when to ask for help • Experience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudFront, S3, and SQS/SNS • Experience building embeddable widgets or SDKs running on third-party sites • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform • Prior experience at an e-commerce, martech, or Shopify-ecosystem company
