📋 Description

• Provide a reliable data platform for simple and scalable data ingestion, transformation, exploration, and governance across the OLX Group • Maintain a platform that enables data to be stored, transformed, and made available for consumption • Deliver relevant data to other teams and/or end users • Work with highly scalable, distributed, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems • Focus on fast, high-volume processing • Use current and open-source technologies • Maintain and develop a modern data platform

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals and best practices • Proficiency in Python and PySpark • Advanced SQL and experience with distributed query engines (Athena, Trino, Spark) • Hands-on experience with real-time data processing architectures (streaming) • Practical knowledge of Spark, Apache Iceberg, and Trino • Knowledge of Linux environments • Extensive AWS experience focused on supporting and evolving data platforms • Experience with AWS IAM and AWS Lake Formation • Knowledge of Terraform and automation with GitHub Actions (CI/CD) • Knowledge of Airflow / MWAA (Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow) • Knowledge of AWS Glue (Jobs, Metastore, and Data Quality) and EMR
