📋 Description

• Lead and develop the Services leadership team, including the Head of Implementation, Director of Engineering, and senior engagement/consulting leads • Own hiring, performance management, and career development for the Services leadership bench • Maintain operating rhythms including OKRs, review cadences, and portfolio check-ins • Champion adoption of the Implementation Playbook, productization efforts, and AI tooling • Partner with the Head of Product on alignment between service delivery and the OpenFn platform • Support pre-sales scoping, Expert Days allocation, pricing, and margin protection • Provide senior technical and delivery sign-off during deal negotiations • Advise Growth on deliverability and over-commitment risks • Support RFP responses and proposal development for complex government and NGO engagements • Advise government ministries, NGOs, and implementation partners on OpenFn-based programs, digital transformation, and AI adoption • Represent OpenFn in client conversations, escalations, strategic accounts, conferences, and partner workshops • Oversee implementation strategy, delivery quality, SLA adherence, and delivery capacity • Own delivery-side financial accountability for the Services portfolio, including gross margin, operating costs, and delivery efficiency • Oversee traditional implementation projects and expert-days within subscription bundles • Partner with the Head of Implementation on portfolio-level financial governance, dashboards, margin monitoring, and invoicing discipline • Help design, validate, and operationalize OpenFn’s subscription-centered delivery and revenue model • Participate in the Global Strategy Team and contribute to business-model design • Define the division of labor between Growth and Services • Provide input into subscription pricing, scoping frameworks, and delivery playbooks • Identify structural and operational gaps and adapt team processes

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years experience in technical or professional services delivery in B2B/B2G • 5+ years at a public-sector-facing technology organization • 3+ years leading a technical or professional services delivery team at a B2B or public-sector-facing technology organization • Experience delivering large, national-scale technology implementations for government partners is a strong advantage • Experience owning portfolio-level financial accountability, including gross margin, operating costs, and delivery efficiency against target • Strong financial fluency and ability to translate financial targets into team-level operating discipline • Proven experience managing and developing a team of managers or technical delivery leads • Experience scoping and negotiating complex, multi-stakeholder deals • Willingness to travel internationally at least once per quarter • Working knowledge of project-based services and subscription-based recurring revenue models • Experience being the senior technical/delivery voice in commercial negotiations and public sector contracts • Experience working with or managing external implementation partners • Excellent written and verbal English communication • Working proficiency in French or Spanish is a strong advantage • Background in international development, digital public goods, govtech, or global health is a strong advantage • Ability to operate effectively in a lean, fully-remote, distributed organization • Ability to work from home or a shared office space with fast, stable internet, preferably in a country located in Africa/Europe time zones
