📋 Description

• Serve as lead consultant on key implementations with government ministries and large NGOs • Understand business processes, technologies, and ambiguous datasets • Design data integration and workflow automation solutions • Ensure customer success through project delivery, team leadership, and stakeholder collaboration • Consult with technical and non-technical government and NGO teams across Africa, Asia, and Latin America • Identify opportunities for automation • Design and help deliver workflow automation solutions using the OpenFn platform and AI • Conduct remote consultations, discovery calls, and workshops • Perform solution design and technical implementation • Conduct API discovery • Work with software engineers to develop specifications and implement OpenFn workflow automation solutions • Train and coach team members and partner implementers on solution design and IT implementation best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience working with data or technology in Data Integration, Workflow Automation, Technology Consulting, Business Analysis, Data Management, Data Analysis, Software Development, or Systems Administration • 3-5+ years in a consulting or customer-facing role providing technical advisory, IT implementation services, technical training, and/or customer service • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Details-focused and analytical mindset; ability to make sense of ambiguous data and Excel spreadsheets • Familiarity with information systems, mobile data collection applications, SQL databases, CRMs, business intelligence tools, and open source applications • Fluency in English • Willingness to travel internationally at least twice per year • Comfort with REST API fundamentals, JSON, and JavaScript is a major advantage • Hands-on experience with Postman and workflow automation or integration platforms is a major advantage • Background in international development, digital public goods, GovTech, TechForGood, or global health is a strong advantage • Ability to work from home or a shared office space with fast, stable internet, preferably in a country located in Africa/Europe time zones • Experience with business process analysis, documentation, and workflow modeling using BPMN or UML • Experience with data integration, REST APIs, ETL processes and tools, workflow automation, data systems design, data management, and/or systems administration • Experience with software testing and/or writing technical specifications • Experience with technology consulting for NGO and government partners and/or remote multifunctional teams from different countries • Experience with IT project management • Experience leading a team and managing people • Working proficiency in another language, preferably French or Spanish
