📋 Description

• Define product visions and strategies for assigned products. • Work on strategic roadmap topics and signal community needs through feature requests and discussions. • Execute product vision by bringing opportunities through delivery with engineers and designers. • Participate in the day-to-day operation of product development. • Collaborate with other teams, stakeholders, and commercial partners. • Involve the worldwide community from discovery through delivery. • Monitor Discord, forums, and GitHub to collect feedback and keep projects on track. • Coordinate with external stakeholders and commercial partners, including aligning hardware launches with software features. • Work across projects such as ESPHome, Music Assistant & Sendspin, and Voice & Assist. • Report to the Ecosystem Lead.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience delivering value to users as a product manager. • 3+ years of experience shaping strategy and vision for a product. • Meaningful experience with full autonomy and iterative development/releasing. • Proficiency working with multi-disciplinary teams, including UX designers and engineers. • Hands-on project management experience to keep engineering teams on track. • Proficiency in communication and adapting messages to the audience. • Comfort with public speaking during workshops, meetups, livestreams, etc. • Professional fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must be currently based and eligible to work within Europe. • Passion for smart homes and automation is desirable. • Experience as a Home Assistant, ESPHome, or Music Assistant user is desirable. • Curiosity and passion for learning are desirable.
