📋 Description

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients during the telehealth intake process. • Collect and accurately document patient demographics, medical history, previous surgeries, current diagnoses, allergies, and medication lists. • Review patient information for completeness and accuracy before the consultation. • Demonstrate understanding of medical terminology, diagnoses, and common medications. • Enter patient information into the medical documentation system accurately. • Prepare and organize patient records before connecting patients with the physician. • Coordinate the transition of patients to the physician for virtual consultation. • Maintain detailed and confidential medical documentation while complying with privacy standards. • Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients throughout the intake process. • Stay up to date with U.S. healthcare terminology, medical practices, and documentation standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Background as Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), medical students, physicians in training, or other healthcare professionals with strong medical knowledge. • Strong knowledge of U.S. medical terminology, diagnoses, anatomy, and common medications. • Ability to recognize common treatments and medications associated with different medical conditions. • Experience reviewing and documenting patient medical histories is highly preferred. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills. • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy. • Compassionate and patient-centered approach. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient intakes efficiently. • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems is a plus. • Excellent English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal. • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers. • Monday through Friday. • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST).
