📋 Description

• Lead the technical design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and performant software systems • Define software architecture and make key product technology-direction decisions • Work with Product Owners and other departments to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Guide and mentor development teams and promote engineering best practices, including coding, code review, testing, and CI/CD • Manage critical issue resolution and support decisions on bugs, refactoring, and performance optimization • Oversee team deliverables and ensure technical quality through code reviews, automated testing, and performance monitoring • Lead continuous improvement and adoption of agile best practices, including Scrum and Kanban • Foster collaboration and continuous learning within the team • Assist with recruiting technical talent and participate in team-member training and development • Monitor new technologies and industry trends relevant to the product and processes • Drive and improve AI-assisted workflows • Own and improve quality gates • Solve performance and modeling problems

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of software development experience • At least 2–3 years in technical leadership roles • Experience migrating or rewriting legacy systems is a plus • Hospital, healthcare, insurance, banking, or other regulated/high-stakes domain experience is a plus • Advanced Java; Java 17+ minimum and comfortable moving to Java 25 LTS • Spring Boot 3.x/4.x • Spring Security 6/7 • Spring Cloud Gateway • TypeScript and Vue 3 Composition API • PrimeVue 4.5+ • Vite 6+ • Vitest 3+ • Pinia • Experience building schema-driven dynamic forms and master-detail screens • Keycloak / OIDC / JWT, including realm modeling, RS256 validation, and client/scope design • Docker and Kubernetes • Kustomize overlays, health/readiness probes, structured logging, and Micrometer/Prometheus • JUnit 5 • Testcontainers with Oracle • Playwright E2E • Experience working with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot; designing prompts, writing custom agents/skills, and reviewing AI output line by line • Experience with Confluence/Jira-driven engineering workflows • Proven ability to guide and mentor engineers, make critical architectural decisions, and solve complex problems under pressure • Excellent ability to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences and work with stakeholders • Proactivity, inspiring leadership, organization, agile-environment adaptability, fast-paced delivery, and bias for fixing root causes rather than bypassing checks
