📋 Description

• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot Visual Basic systems (VB6, VBA, and/or VB.NET) • Understand complex business rules and translate them into clean code • Investigate production incidents and propose permanent solutions • Refactor critical modules to reduce technical debt • Specify and develop integrations with other systems and databases • Collaborate with product, QA, and infrastructure teams • Document solutions and help promote best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Basic Developer (VB6, VBA, and/or VB.NET) • Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling (SQL Server or similar) • Experience maintaining legacy systems in a corporate environment • Ability to analyze existing code and propose improvements • Experience with version control (Git, SVN, or similar) • Strong communication skills for working with business and technology stakeholders • Experience migrating or modernizing VB applications to .NET or other technology stacks • Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, REST APIs, or system integrations • Previous experience working in high-criticality environments (financial services, industrial, or service sectors) • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) • Participation in database performance-tuning projects
