📋 Description

• Deploy, configure and maintain Proxmox VE clusters, including storage and Ceph • Manage virtual machine lifecycle across internal and customer environments • Support and maintain Linux and Windows server infrastructure at scale • Design and support network infrastructure: VLANs, routing, SD-WAN and firewalls • Administer cloud infrastructure across Azure and hosted environments • Plan and execute infrastructure and cloud migrations with defined cutover and rollback plans • Size and plan workloads to balance performance against cost • Build automation for provisioning, patching and fleet management • Develop and maintain standardized, repeatable infrastructure configurations • Raise change controls for all work impacting production environments • Seek approval from GM or CTO prior to implementation – each change must include an implementation plan, risk assessment, roll-back plan and testing plan • Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation in Nuclino • Monitor infrastructure health, capacity and resource usage • Support backup and disaster recovery, including periodic recovery testing • Investigate and remediate infrastructure incidents escalated from Level 2

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level Linux systems administration (Debian preferred) • Proxmox VE administration including clustering, storage and Ceph • Virtualization, storage and backup concepts at depth • Cloud infrastructure administration, including Microsoft Azure and Azure networking • Networking fundamentals: VLANs, bridging, routing, SD-WAN, firewalls • Infrastructure automation and scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible or similar) • High discipline with change control and documentation • Capacity planning, workload sizing and migration planning • Candidates without real Proxmox VE experience are not suitable for this role.
