• Review raw video footage and identify the most engaging moments, hooks, and key messaging suitable for short-form social media content • Select clips and edit high-volume short-form videos (15–60 seconds) designed for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts • Add captions, emojis, transitions, b-roll, sound effects, and other enhancements to improve engagement and storytelling • Ensure all edited videos align with the brand’s tone, pacing, messaging, and overall content style guidelines • Optimise videos for each platform, including correct 9:16 formatting, caption placement, and platform-specific length requirements • Use AI tools where appropriate to assist with captions, content enhancement, b-roll generation, or workflow efficiency • Deliver completed videos daily to the Social Media Manager for review, scheduling, and publishing • Maintain speed, consistency, and quality while working within a high-volume content production pipeline
• Proven experience editing short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts • Strong proficiency with video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools • Experience using AI-powered editing tools for captions, enhancements, or content generation • Strong understanding of social media trends, viral hooks, and techniques that drive audience engagement • Ability to review raw footage and independently identify compelling moments without detailed editing instructions • Excellent attention to detail, creative storytelling ability, and efficient editing workflow management • Strong English comprehension, including the ability to understand conversational language and Australian accents • Reliable internet connection, suitable editing hardware, and the ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.
