📋 Description

• Ingest data from ERPs, operational systems, and Excel-based inputs into Microsoft Fabric • Build lakehouse and warehouse layers with SQL and Python, with validation to prevent bad data from reaching reporting • Manage source control and deployments across client environments • Set up environments, security, and access with client IT teams • Monitor production pipelines and support incident response • Support backup and disaster recovery for client solutions • Conduct technical discovery and effort estimates • Write documentation and runbooks as part of the build • Contribute reusable code and best practices to the internal knowledge base • Build with agentic coding tools as part of daily engineering work • Support 3–4 client engagements at a time alongside consultants and the Forward Deployed Engineering team • Keep data platforms healthy after go-live and support agent builds as projects require

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience • Consulting or client-facing delivery a plus • Strong SQL and Python • Experience with an enterprise data platform (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric); Fabric experience is a plus, not a requirement • Experience with Git and CI/CD for data platforms • Experience running and supporting production pipelines • Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) and a desire to build with them every day • Strong communication and documentation habits • Curiosity about how Finance teams run • Willingness and entrepreneurial spirit to operate in a bona fide startup environment; high drive and work ethic, adaptability to change, and fast learning • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience • Fluent spoken and written English • Open to candidates in Latin America with at least four hours of daily overlap with US business hours
