📋 Description

• Own the monthly financial close and ensure accurate, timely financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. • Clean up and maintain the chart of accounts. • Oversee external accountants, tax preparers, and bookkeeping support. • Build financial reporting for contribution margins, marketing efficiency, payroll costs, cash runway, and profitability by offer and channel. • Develop rolling cash forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support business decisions. • Provide monthly written insights and actionable recommendations on profitability, spending, hiring, and growth investments. • Identify and reduce unnecessary vendor and software expenses. • Establish financial controls, payment approval processes, and documented workflows. • Oversee contractor and international payroll processes across multiple countries.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of finance experience, including experience as a Controller, Finance Manager, or Head of Finance. • Hands-on experience with US accounting and US-entity financials; Puerto Rico or multi-entity experience is a plus. • Experience in a business where marketing spend is a major expense, ideally in e-commerce, DTC, SaaS, agencies, or digital products. • Strong financial modeling, spreadsheet, and accounting software skills. • Ability to translate financial data into clear insights and actionable business recommendations. • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong EST time zone overlap. • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting qualification. • Experience with international entities, outsourced finance teams, or fast-growing businesses. • Spanish language skills.
