📋 Description

• Serve as the client's embedded accounting resource while maintaining Pandoblox's quality and delivery standards • Learn the client's chart of accounts, accounting processes, close procedures, reporting cadence, and ERP configuration • Own recurring accounting activities, including month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting • Work hands-on across NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, and other client ERP platforms • Adapt to different ERP environments and chart of accounts structures • Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports and statements • Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and resolve accounting issues • Evaluate accounting workflows and ERP usage for gaps, inefficiencies, and process improvements • Recommend improvements to accounting processes, controls, workflows, and ERP utilization • Maintain documentation of accounting procedures and ERP configurations • Communicate with the assigned Operational Manager regarding engagement status, client satisfaction, risks, capacity concerns, and blockers • Track billable hours and engagement activity using time-tracking systems • Contribute accounting and ERP knowledge, best practices, templates, and process improvements to the consulting practice • Represent Pandoblox professionally throughout client engagements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with meaningful experience working within the finance function of mid-size companies • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • CPA or equivalent certification is a plus • Strong hands-on experience with at least two of: NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and QuickBooks • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP platforms is a plus • Strong understanding of month-end close, account reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR, and GAAP-based financial reporting • Ability to navigate unfamiliar ERP environments and learn new systems and processes quickly • Experience maintaining accurate financial records and investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies • Experience preparing financial reports and supporting reporting requirements for business stakeholders • Experience identifying process gaps and recommending improvements to accounting workflows and ERP usage • Prior client-facing or cross-functional stakeholder experience, ideally within consulting, outsourced accounting, or shared-services environments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing responsibilities independently • Strong analytical judgment, problem-solving ability, and professional integrity • Comfortable working flexible part-time hours in minimum 4-hour work blocks • Self-starter who knows when to take ownership and when to escalate risks or blockers • Fully functional and up-to-date computer • Willingness to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer • Current resident of the Philippines and legally able to perform work from there • Willingness to accommodate US Pacific business hours when required
