📋 Description

• Lead hands-on design work alongside teams to create and ship exceptional work • Guide product design, design systems, product strategy, and human-centred design • Provide clear, specific, actionable feedback to project teams • Advise clients, present work, manage feedback, and build strong relationships • Drive project success using service design and change-management thinking • Partner with the business team to scope work and identify account-growth opportunities • Build a collaborative, inclusive, high-performance design culture • Partner with leadership to keep the team engaged and culture strong • Hire, mentor, and develop designers • Represent Parallel in the design community to attract talent and new work • Set quality standards across product/UX design, visual design, product strategy, research, content design, creative direction, systems design, and brand strategy

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in product or UX design • Proven experience managing and mentoring design teams through complex work at a high bar • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to align and influence stakeholders • Experience working cross-functionally to drive business priorities and deliver real value • Portfolio of shipped products demonstrating craft and strategic thinking • Everyday fluency with modern design tools and AI in design practice • Working knowledge of change management and service design • Active engagement in the design community through writing, talks, or panels • Commitment to inclusive design and a collaborative team environment
