📋 Description

• Review and analyse tender documentation, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects • Conduct quantity take-offs and material measurements from plans and specifications • Identify project risks, exclusions, and cost considerations during tender review • Assist in preparing competitive and accurate tender submissions • Complete accurate quantity calculations for materials, labour, and subcontractor scopes • Support budgeting, cost planning, and project feasibility assessments • Monitor and maintain estimating databases and pricing schedules • Assist with variation pricing and cost analysis where required • Source supplier and subcontractor pricing using ProcurePro • Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors • Assist with procurement planning and cost benchmarking • Maintain supplier databases and pricing records • Prepare and maintain estimating records within BuildTrend • Ensure all project documentation is organised and accurately recorded • Support process improvements across estimating and procurement workflows • Assist with project handovers from estimating to delivery teams

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Cost Planner within commercial construction • Strong experience conducting material take-offs and quantity calculations • Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and commercial awareness • Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously • Experience with BuildTrend and/or EstimateOne (Desirable) • Experience working on commercial, industrial, or multi-residential projects (Desirable) • Understanding of Australian construction contracts and tender processes (Desirable) • Previous experience supporting procurement and supplier engagement (Desirable)
