📋 Description

• Conduct end-to-end background verifications and reference checks for shortlisted and offer-stage candidates within 24–72 hours • Verify a minimum of 2 contactable direct managers, aiming for 4–5 across different companies • Authenticate candidates with international experience by validating references from supervisors in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK • Cross-verify alternative proof for BPO environments and short-tenure roles under 6 months, including performance appraisals, awards, client commendations, and authenticated HR documentation • Verify referees through LinkedIn profiles, formal email signatures, official press releases, event photos, or public records • Cross-examine CVs and Workable profiles against reference feedback to identify discrepancies, timeline misalignments, and undisclosed performance issues • Investigate integrity red flags and verify employer legitimacy where necessary • Escalate exceptions to upper management for formal review • Coordinate Client Exception Waiver Forms with recruiters for rapid-start placements • Execute urgent, high-priority checks while keeping stakeholders aligned • Maintain real-time tracking, tagging, and status updates on the monday.com Reference Check Visibility Board • Initiate and moderate dedicated WhatsApp channels to resolve bottlenecks with candidates, recruiters, and referees • Follow daily calendar-blocking workflows for exception and urgent-priority candidates, standard submissions, and structured follow-ups • Meet KPIs including 100% verification-criteria adherence, completion within 24–72 hours for standard candidates, accurate monday.com status updates, and compliant escalation/documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills • Persuasive, clear communication and comfort conducting phone/email outreach to high-level executives and international managers • Tenacious and assertive follow-up with busy referees across AU/NZ/UK global time zones • Highly analytical mindset and investigative instinct for spotting contradictions between CVs, social profiles, and verbal statements • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume pipelines using structured time-blocking and project management tools such as monday.com and Workable • 2+ years of experience in recruitment operations, HR compliance, background screening, or candidate vetting • Experience working with AU, NZ, or UK markets and BPO environments is a strong advantage
