📋 Description

• Design and implement multi-agent workflows, including task decomposition, state management, and tool use such as RAG and API integration • Implement rigorous evaluation frameworks using approaches such as LLM-as-a-judge, promptfoo, or DSPy • Develop reusable agents and prompt libraries supporting 1,000+ brands with unique voices simultaneously • Partner with AI Engineering and Product teams to determine which behaviors should be handled through prompting, RAG, or fine-tuning • Act as technical lead for complex client deployments • Run structured discovery sessions with clients and decompose ambiguous business problems into buildable agent workflows • Present cost, latency, and reliability trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders • Design and scale foundational agents powering the Pencil SaaS platform • Architect custom workflows for brands requiring specific brand DNA and complex creative logic • Reduce workflow failure rates, optimize token usage and latency, improve brand alignment, drive adoption at scale, and deliver successful client deployments

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of direct GenAI experience • Deep, intuitive, and technical understanding of LLMs including GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini • Understanding of multimodal models including Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, and Video Gen • Systems thinking across latent space, context windows, and multi-agent input/output flows • Comfort with Python, JSON structures, and API documentation • Experience with agent orchestration patterns such as task decomposition, tool use, and state management • Familiarity with benchmarking and A/B testing AI outputs • Demonstrated experience leading discovery with customers or stakeholders and turning vague briefs into scoped technical solutions • Solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, or technical consulting background • Ability to translate creative direction into concrete system changes • Ability to explain agent failure modes, evaluation results, and architectural trade-offs in plain language • Legal right to work and remain in the country in which the candidate intends to work from
