📋 Description

• Develop coding, debugging, testing and version-control skills through practical work • Contribute bug fixes and small enhancements to customer-facing software • Build understanding of hair, beauty and medspa businesses and their challenges • Use AI tools as part of the engineering workflow • Participate in pair programming, code reviews and coaching • Join team planning, daily check-ins and retrospectives • Write clean, maintainable code and document solutions according to team conventions • Take ownership of assigned tasks and gradually assume more responsibility • Build features for salons worldwide as part of Phorest's Product & Engineering community

🎯 Requirements

• Third-level education in a related field, or a relevant certification supported by strong evidence of personal projects • Qualification completed within the last two years • No more than two years' experience in a related role • Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Java, Kotlin or JavaScript • Understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented design • Awareness of REST APIs and relational databases • Some experience of coding, testing or collaborative development through studies, personal projects, an internship or another learning experience • Curiosity, willingness to ask questions and openness to feedback • Clear communication and a collaborative approach • Interest in the people who use what you build • Sense of ownership over learning and assigned tasks • Flexibility to adapt as you develop
