📋 Description

• Lead Junior Writers who proofread and refine AI-adapted Spanish scripts • Review scripts for grammar, spelling, accents, punctuation, register, fluency, and fidelity to the English source • Identify mistranslations, awkward phrasing, dropped lines, tonal drift, incorrect emotion tags, and continuity breaks • Make scripts AI-voice friendly through formatting, speaker labels, emotion tags, punctuation, and pronunciation-ready names and terms • Correct scripts or return them with clear notes and provide final production sign-off • Track writer quality using error rates, error types, and rework levels • Provide constructive feedback and run onboarding, calibration, and refresher sessions • Define and maintain proofreading standards, style guides, and QA checklists • Decide regional Spanish usage and tone for each show and resolve edge cases and escalations • Own editorial quality from pre-editorial planning through post-release review across up to six shows • Approve localization sheets and concept notes and protect continuity across episodes and seasons • Own editorial retakes and identify root causes for editorial issues • Monitor user comments and ratings, prioritize recurring language issues, and turn feedback into corrective actions • Collaborate with the AI team on recurring editorial problems, prompt changes, glossaries, localization rules, and formatting standards • Test new tools and workflows on live shows and communicate changes to Junior Writers

🎯 Requirements

• Native or near-native Spanish with outstanding grammar, spelling, and editorial judgment • Strong English comprehension to check scripts against the source • Proven proofreading, editing, or translation review experience, with stamina for high daily volume • Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching proofreaders, editors, or writers • Ability to identify linguistic, contextual, and continuity errors and teach others to spot them • Bachelor's degree in Literature, Languages, Translation, Creative Writing, Media, Communications, or a related field • Ability to analyze user comments and turn recurring issues into clear actions • Experience handling quality escalations and finding root causes • Ability to provide technical or AI teams with clear, example-backed feedback • Strong organization across multiple shows, teams, and daily deadlines • Clear communication and comfort working with business and cross-functional teams • Hands-on experience with AI writing, translation, or adaptation tools • Experience building style guides, QA checklists, or review frameworks • Experience tracking error rates, retake rates, or feedback trends • Understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and audience engagement
