📋 Description

• Work closely with attorneys in serving clients and providing excellent advocacy • Assist clients in developing statements to be used in their case • Advise regarding evidence gathering • Write portions of legal briefs • Conduct country conditions research • Work with attorneys in framing and preparing the case • Serve as a point of contact with clients, supporting attorneys in engaging clients throughout the representation • Proactively manage cases to ensure deadlines are met • Compile and submit filings to immigration agencies • Perform administrative tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Committed to the firm’s mission of helping immigrants secure their future in the United States through asylum • Fluent in Spanish • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills • Detail-oriented and able to perform at a high level with minimal supervision • Works well under pressure • Able to keep track of tasks and meet deadlines
