📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Manage engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring alignment with business objectives, schedules, and budgets. • Provide technical guidance and support for product development, design reviews, risk assessments, and problem-solving activities. • Drive cross-functional collaboration between engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and product management teams. • Establish engineering priorities, allocate resources, and manage workload to meet project milestones and deliverables. • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, regulatory, and industry standards throughout the product development lifecycle. • Oversee product verification, validation, and qualification activities to ensure product performance and reliability requirements are met. • Review and approve engineering documentation, specifications, test plans, and design changes. • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize project and business impacts. • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, development processes, and operational efficiency. • Partner with suppliers (OEM, ODM, JDM), external engineering firms, and testing laboratories as needed to support development activities. • Track project progress, communicate status updates to stakeholders, and escalate issues when necessary. • Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and career development of engineering team members. • Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies, tools, and processes that enhance product development capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related engineering discipline. • 8+ years of engineering experience in product development, manufacturing, or related technical field. • 3+ years of engineering leadership or people management experience. • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex engineering projects. • Strong understanding of product development processes, design controls, and engineering best practices. Understanding of design evaluation techniques such as reliability analysis, statistical tolerance, Failure Mode, and Effect analysis (FMEA). • Ability to effectively plan, organize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Ability to manage simultaneous tasks in an environment that can be demanding. • Experienced designing Android based display system. • Electronics design expertise within Precor’s core competencies, including digital display systems, motors and motor controllers, power supplies, and electromagnetics. • Working knowledge of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC (Near Field Communication) & EMI. • Radiated and conducted immunity in terms of FCC and CE regulatory requirements. • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resources allocation and project management. • Knowledge of UL 1647, IEC 60335 is a plus.
