📋 Description
• Define and drive the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities for a team of 3 to 6 engineers • Take ownership of architectural decisions, overseeing implementation while ensuring maintainability, reliability, scalability, and security • Support the development team in delivering high-impact initiatives on time • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, while maintaining an engaging and motivating work environment • Have fun
🎯 Requirements
• Strong hands-on background with 5+ years in data engineering (e.g. SQL, Python, Spark or similar distributed processing frameworks) • 2+ years in a leadership role, managing engineering teams, overseeing development processes, and driving technical decisions • Experience designing and operating reliable data pipelines in production (batch and ideally streaming / event-driven systems) and making data modelling decisions • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with non-technical stakeholders and external business partners • Proven ability to lead initiatives from inception to successful delivery, collecting business requirements and converting them into actionable technical ones
