📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate reliable and scalable systems • Define and monitor SLOs and SLIs • Work directly on production infrastructure • Collaborate with software engineers on system design and reliability improvements • Develop automation for infrastructure and operational workflows to eliminate toil and reduce MTTR • Participate in and lead incident response • Drive blameless post-incident reviews and implement follow-ups in code and tooling • Analyze and optimize system performance and cost • Provide data, insights, and recommendations for capacity planning • Support security best practices through vulnerability remediation and threat mitigation • Engage stakeholders, propose solutions, share learnings, and mentor others

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SRE practices in production • Strong AWS expertise • Experience with Kubernetes, networking, DNS, and Infrastructure as Code • Pulumi preferred; Terraform a plus • Strong software engineering fundamentals with emphasis on code quality and maintainability • Solid Python proficiency and deep knowledge of the Python ecosystem, including testing, debugging, and packaging • Experience leading incident response and root-cause analyses • Ability to improve system reliability, engage stakeholders, propose solutions, share learnings, and mentor others • Experience operating in highly regulated industries, managing sensitive data, and supporting secure networking setups (nice-to-have) • Exposure to Cloudflare and distributed systems technologies including RabbitMQ, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Redis (nice-to-have) • Experience with Datadog, database structures, PySpark, and MLOps practices (nice-to-have)
