📋 Description

• Lead the design and implementation of core backend services for high-performance, complex distributed systems • Own key technology decisions, building for scale and optimising for output • Use modern development practices such as BDD and TDD • Create clear, modern, well-tested code • Collaborate across teams in a product-driven environment • Conduct code reviews and improve ways of working • Create detailed internal documentation for projects • Participate in the interview process through role-contextualised challenge stages and values-alignment interviews

🎯 Requirements

• In-depth understanding of the entire development process, including design, development, and deployment • Knowledge of building developer frameworks and workflows for seamless customer and third-party integrations • Experience in Python is advantageous • Experience with any technical background; ability to adapt to the company’s technology stack • Highly motivated self-starter who values autonomy and getting things done • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Payments knowledge and interest in optimising merchant developer experience • Must be based in Poland, Portugal, Hungary, Romania, or South Africa
