📋 Description

• Design and document data models and Azure SQL databases for the central data platform, internal applications, and reporting • Develop secure REST APIs and backend services using .NET/C# and Azure App Service or Functions • Enforce access checks in APIs and permissions at API and data layers • Build React/TypeScript front ends integrated with the company intranet and design system • Build integrations between internal systems and third-party services using APIs, webhooks, and data imports • Work in GitHub with pull requests, code reviews, GitHub Actions CI/CD, and automated code and secret scanning • Define infrastructure as code with OpenTofu, using Managed Identity and Key Vault instead of stored secrets • Write automated tests with Playwright and support business users during acceptance testing • Use AI coding agents productively and safely, reviewing, testing, and owning generated code • Follow change management and system validation procedures and maintain technical documentation • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape requirements and deliver working solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience building web applications with React/TypeScript and a backend language such as C# / .NET (experienced and early-career developers welcomed) • SQL schema design, data modelling, and writing efficient queries • REST API design, authentication and authorization (Entra ID, OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect) • Git branching, pull requests, and code review • CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps) • Azure fundamentals: App Service, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Managed Identity • Secure coding practices, including OWASP Top 10 • Care for personal and sensitive data • Willingness to work in a regulated environment involving change control, testing evidence, audit trails, and data integrity • Fluent in English, written and spoken
